The Downtown San Mateo Association (DSMA), established in 1956, is a coalition of San Mateo businesses, professionals and property owners, working together to promote and improve business and civic activity downtown. The DSMA sponsors special events, provides business development support for members, acts as a member's advocate to the City Council and contributes to aesthetic and environmental enhancements throughout the downtown area.

The mission of the Downtown San Mateo Association is to promote the downtown area's businesses and enhance our position as the premier downtown in San Mateo County.
Our Vision
Our vision is to be known as the downtown destination of the Bay Area in the heart of the Peninsula.
